We are looking to geocode 250,000 address points for an upcoming project. So far I have looked into:
- Texas A&M Geocoding Services, which broke down to about $375
- ESRI (40 credits per 1000 addresses) would require us to purchase 10,000 credits at a rate of 100$ per 1000 credits, so that would be 1000$. They are pretty much ruled out unless anyone can offer up a compelling reason to use them.
- Google: .50/1000= 125$
- GeoCodio: 123.75 for 250k addresses.
Google and GeoCodio are definitely within the budget but I don't know of any inherent advantages of choosing one over the other. If anyone has any suggestions (not just limited to this list. I'm open to using other sources) I would appreciate it!
